JUDITH HIBBERT

Judith lives in Beverley with her husband, Malcolm Tomlinson, who is an actor and horse racing commentator.  They have two very talented children, Eleanor and Ross, who are already carving out their future careers in film and tv.

Working extensively in both tv and theatre, musicals, cabaret and pantomime, Judith played a mean Mrs Mullin in the West Yorkshire Playhouse production of Carousel.  Prior to this she toured in Dr Who, playing the part of Madame Delilah with the late Jon Pertwee.  Her last panto was at Richmond Theatre, London, as the fairy to Su Pollard’s Dick Whittington.  In Glasgow she has been principal boy to both Rikki Fulton and Stanley Baxter.  She joined the National Revue Company in How Was It For You, Dear? at the Edinburgh Festival and for years has been a regular solo artiste at the Players’ Theatre, London.  With Opera Della Luna she toured America and the stately homes of England.  On the telly she appeared in Stay Lucky and Rainbow for Thames TV and The New Statesman for YTV.

Judith is much in demand as an after dinner speaker/entertainer and having always been a fan of old fashioned Variety Theatre, she has turned back the clock and put together a fitting tribute to some of England’s greatest entertainers.
